My New Desktop Background

I’ve been using the “Barred Spiral Galaxy NGC 6217” on my windows laptop for some time now. However the other laptops I haven’t gotten around to updating from their vanilla settings. So I updated this laptops background to “the planetary nebula, catalogued as NGC 6302, but more popularly called the Bug Nebula or the Butterfly Nebula”.

How long will it take us to evolve to the point we belong to this bigger picture. How long will it be until we master the realities of the cosmos and can look at the mysteries beyond these that are “in our face”? I hope I live indefinitely. I’d like to evolve far past the mundane idiocy of our times…
