Laptop Universal Power Supplies

Filed under: Uncategorized — ioconnor @ 11:45 am

More laptops are being sold than desktops now. Apparently this is a new development. With more laptops comes a need for universal power supplies for these laptops. Two new universal power supplies were introduced. A review of the Thermaltake can be found at http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/news/3570. Unfortunately there is no mention of it at their website at http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/. Cooler Master is the second universal power supply for notebooks. Its output voltage is stuck at 19V so I don’t agree that it is a universal power supply. A review can be found at http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/news/3571.

If the Thermaltake power supply does become available and at a reasonable price I’ll but it when I need an extra power supply.
